Dear – friends of IVS – Helmut Schweiger
After 30 years of build up, growth and management the IVS with it’s
headquarters at Amberg,
Bavaria I, founder and CEO of the IVS GmbH, decided, based upon
intensive and long lasting
consideration, to retire from my active IVS (A Doro Company) business
live and will further
concentrate on my private business investments and other new challenges.
Furthermore I’ll be
available for the company in an advisory function for any length of
time.
I’m very proud of our mutual achievements during the last 30 years. I
want to thank you all
sincerely for the amazing success we reached over this decades. My
particular graduate belongs to
my wife Susanne, who mastered
all ups and downs together with me and the IVS team throughout the last
30 years.
Looking back to the IVS, founded 1991 in Amberg and achieving a turnover
of about 1 billion until
this day, I remember with great pride and happiness all the things we
achieved during the years.
Together as a team, customers or suppliers but especially as friends, we
created an awesome
enterprise growing continuously over the last years. I think it’s fair
to say that we at the IVS utilized
the opportunities of internationalization and target group specific
positioning.
An additional milestone in the IVS history is certainly the vending of
IVS to the Doro Group with
it’s head office in Sweden in the year 2013. Until now I consider this
as a strategic important and
right step. Thereby the IVS gained the opportunity for expansion and the
advantage of utilization of
scaling effects. Based on that we developed our leading position on the
German retail market.
During the years I personally recruited many of you and I collaborated
with you with deep respect.
Hence, it was not an easy decision to retire and I’d say it feels like
leaving my family. But
nevertheless with some teariness I decided to rise to new challenges.
I want you to know that it was very gaining to work together with you
over the last 30 years. I very
appreciate all the support you gave to me during this years. Words are
not enough to express my
thankfulness and I hope we’ll meet in the future again.
I wish you all the best, particularly healthfulness and all what you
wish for yourself.
